Precision Fluid Control
Built for Real Science
Since 2007, Inovenso Inc. has designed and manufactured syringe and peristaltic pumps trusted by researchers, pharmaceutical companies, and industrial engineers in over 60 countries — across research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and industrial facilities worldwide.

A Research-Driven Precision Instrument Company
Inovenso was founded in 2007 out of academic research in nanotechnology and precision fluid control. What began as a research-driven venture has grown into a globally recognized manufacturer of laboratory and industrial pump systems, with installations across universities, pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and industrial facilities in more than 60 countries.
As international demand expanded, Inovenso moved its global headquarters to Boston, MA, USA — the heart of the world's biotechnology and research ecosystem. From this base, the team developed the IPS Syringe Pump Series and the IPS-20 Peristaltic Pump System, both built on the principle that precision instruments should be accurate, durable, and simple to operate.
Today, more than 600 IPS pump systems are in active use across research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and industrial facilities in over 60 countries. The IPS Series has been cited in hundreds of peer-reviewed publications in fields including electrospinning, microfluidics, mass spectrometry, and drug delivery research. How We Got Here
Key moments in Inovenso's journey from university spin-off to global precision instrument manufacturer.
Inovenso was established with a focus on nanotechnology research tools and precision fluid control systems for academic and industrial laboratories. The founding team combined deep engineering expertise with direct experience in laboratory research workflows.
The IPS Series debuted with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and intuitive operation. Built on Microstep Drive stepper motor technology, the platform delivered 357 nm/µstep resolution and a flow range from 17.89 pL/min to 121.51 mL/min — capabilities previously unavailable at this price point.
To better serve the growing North American and global research market, Inovenso moved its international headquarters to Boston — establishing direct access to the world's densest concentration of research universities, biotech companies, and pharmaceutical institutions.
IPS pump systems are in active use at hundreds of research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and industrial facilities worldwide. The product line now spans six syringe pump series (IPS-12 through IPS-16) and two peristaltic pump systems (IPS-20 and IPS-21), covering flow rates from 17.89 pL/min to 2280 mL/min.
Our Commitments
Four principles that shape every product we build and every relationship we maintain.
Listening and understanding come before everything else. We respond quickly, collaborate closely, and build long-term relationships grounded in trust — with both individual researchers and large institutional partners.
We consider the key factors that drive real scientific progress — accuracy, repeatability, and ease of use. Every new model and feature starts with a genuine research need, not a marketing checklist.
Quality sits at the center of everything we build. Across all departments — engineering, manufacturing, and support — we uphold a single standard: the best in products and services. Our customers receive consistent, reliable results every time.
Our team combines deep engineering knowledge with hands-on laboratory experience. Continuous learning and a culture of ownership keep our standards high — and keep our products ahead of the research community's evolving needs.
The IPS Pump Systems
Two product families covering flow rates from 17.89 pL/min to 2280 mL/min — engineered for precision, built for reliability.
Four models from basic infusion to full infuse/withdraw with recipe automation. 17.89 pL/min – 121.51 mL/min. The core single-channel platform.
View Series →Two channels driven by a single motor — matched, simultaneous flow. Ideal for co-axial electrospinning, gradient mixing, and parallel delivery.
View Series →Two fully independent motors — each channel runs its own flow rate, syringe size, and direction simultaneously. Maximum flexibility for complex protocols.
View Series →Built-in Wi-Fi with SSL encryption, iOS & Android mobile app, grouped pump management, and CSV data export. Remote control from anywhere in the lab.
View Series →1–600 RPM, up to 2280 mL/min continuous flow. No sample contact with pump mechanism. 3″ touch display. Ideal for pharmaceutical dosing and industrial fluid transfer.
View Product →0.1–100 RPM precision range with 4.3″ touch display and Learn & Repeat mode. Designed for laboratory-scale continuous flow applications requiring fine speed control.
